Rampur 1943 Virasat is a tribute to India’s rich distilling heritage and the legacy of the Rampur Distillery. Crafted from the finest six-row Indian barley, distilled in copper pot stills, matured in American bourbon barrels and finished in Ruby Port pipes, Virasat delivers a rich, elegant single malt experience born in the Himalayan foothills.

Tasting notes 👃
The nose offers sweet vanilla, caramel and toasted oak with hints of red fruit. On the palate, malty richness balances tropical fruit, gentle spice and a touch of sweetness. The finish is long, smooth and luxurious, closing on red berries, stewed fruits, silky spice and port-driven sweetness.

Alcohol: 43.0% vol.
The whisky begins its journey in American Bourbon barrels, imparting notes of sweet vanilla, caramel and toffee, along with a touch of toasted oak. It is then shaped by the signature character of Rampur Distillery, bringing forward a malty richness complemented by tropical fruits and subtle hints of citrus. The final refinement in Ruby Port pipes adds layers of red berries and stewed fruits, enhanced by a silky spice and a lingering, elegant sweetness.
