Old Monk Dark Rum

Beskrivelse

Appearance: It’s deep mahogany or dark brown. It comes in a squat, chunky bottle with the monk’s face on the label, which is instantly recognisable to anyone from India.

Nose: Vanilla, caramel, and brown sugar come first, followed by raisins and dried fruit, with a light spice and oak in the background.

Palate: It’s smooth, medium-bodied, and noticeably sweet. The main flavours are toffee, vanilla, and molasses, with hints of cinnamon, nutmeg, and a light chocolate note. It’s easy-drinking rather than complex or hot.

Finish: Medium length, warm, and gently sweet, with lingering vanilla and spice.
